Where do I find the comments LigoSocial generated?
Generated comments appear in the Chrome extension side panel next to the post. There is no saved comment history, so copy the comment you want before closing the panel.
On this page
Generated comments appear in the LigoSocial Chrome extension side panel, on the Comments tab, right after you click Generate Comments. There is no saved list of past comments, so copy the one you want before you close the panel or move to another post.
Generate and use a comment
- Install the Chrome extension and sign in with your LigoSocial account.
- Open LinkedIn and find a post you want to comment on.
- Click the Engage button that the extension adds to the post. Or right-click the post and choose LigoAI, then Generate Comments.
- The side panel opens on the Comments tab with the post text filled in.
- Pick a Comment style and click Generate Comments.
- Your best suggestion appears first. Click More options to see the others.
- Click the copy button on the comment you like, then paste it into the LinkedIn comment box and post it.
LigoSocial never posts comments for you. You always paste and post them yourself on LinkedIn.
Why there is no comment history
Comments live only in the side panel until you copy them. When you copy one, LigoSocial quietly learns from your pick (and any edits) so future suggestions sound more like you, but it does not keep a list you can browse later.
Tips so you never lose a good comment:
- Copy the comment before you open another post or close the panel.
- If you want to reuse it later, paste it into a note first.
Using the Today queue
If you see a Today tab, click Find 5 to get five posts worth commenting on, each with a drafted comment. For each one, click Copy comment, paste it on LinkedIn, then click I pasted it or Mark as done. Click Done for today when you finish.
Troubleshooting
- No Engage button on posts: refresh LinkedIn. If it is still missing, see Chrome extension quick fixes.
- “No Comments Generated”: check that the post text is in the box, then click Generate Comments again.
- Comments do not sound like you: set up a comment style pack and add custom instructions. See Create comment style packs.
