# Plans, credits and invoices

Your plan, credit balance, invoices and card are all on the **Billing** page: open **Settings**, then **Manage Subscription**, or go to [app.ligosocial.com/billing](https://app.ligosocial.com/billing). For plans and current prices, see [ligosocial.com/pricing](https://ligosocial.com/pricing).

## See your plan

1. Open [app.ligosocial.com/billing](https://app.ligosocial.com/billing).
2. The bar at the top shows your plan and its status (for example trial, active, or cancelling).
3. Click **Details** for more options.

## How credits work

LigoSocial uses credits for AI work such as writing posts, generating comments and repurposing content.

- **Paid plans** include a monthly credit pool that refills each billing month.
- **Extra credits** you buy are used after your monthly pool runs out. They never expire.
- **Lifetime deals** have no monthly refill. You use your one-time credits first, then your own AI key.
- **Your own AI key (BYOK):** if you add your own key, the sidebar shows **Unlimited credits**. See [Use your own AI key](https://help.ligosocial.com/articles/bring-your-own-ai-key).

Your credit balance is shown at the bottom of the left sidebar.

## Buy extra credits

1. On the **Billing** page, click **Details**, then **Buy extra credits**. Lifetime users also see **Top up** in the sidebar when their credits run out.
2. Pick a credit pack and pay.
3. You see **Your credits have been added to your account**.

## Change your plan

On the **Billing** page, scroll to **Change plan**, pick a plan and confirm. Upgrades apply straight away. To compare plans first, see [ligosocial.com/pricing](https://ligosocial.com/pricing).

## Invoices, receipts and your card

1. On the **Billing** page, click **Manage billing** (or **Billing history** on the Free plan), or **Details** then **Invoices and payment method**.
2. A secure billing portal opens.
3. Download any invoice, or update your card and billing details.

We also email a receipt for every payment.

## Free trial

Cancel any time before your trial ends, from **Billing**, and you pay nothing. We email you before it ends. One free trial per card.
