# How LigoSocial Ghostwriting works for clients

After checkout you complete three short steps (your LinkedIn profile and email, your goals, and connecting LinkedIn), then you answer your ghostwriter's questions by voice or text on your **Ghostwriting** page at [app.ligosocial.com/ghostwriting](https://app.ligosocial.com/ghostwriting). You approve every post before it goes out.

## Set up your space (3 steps)

1. **Step 1 of 3:** paste your **LinkedIn profile** link (like linkedin.com/in/your-name) and the **Best email to reach you**. Drafts, questions and reports go to this email.
2. **Step 2 of 3, Your LinkedIn goals:** pick all that apply, for example **More reach**, **More engagement**, **More followers**, **More clients for my business** or **A promotion or a better job**. Use **Something else** to say it in your own words. Your goals shape every post we write.
3. **Step 3 of 3, Let us post for you:** connect your LinkedIn so approved posts can go out on schedule, or choose **I'd rather post them myself**.

When you finish you see **You're all set. We'll take it from here.** Your first drafts arrive within 4 days.

## Answer your ghostwriter's questions

Your ghostwriter sends questions to learn your stories, opinions and expertise. We email you when new ones arrive.

1. Open [app.ligosocial.com/ghostwriting](https://app.ligosocial.com/ghostwriting). Questions waiting for you are under **What we need from you**.
2. Tap **Tap to talk** to record your answer, then **Tap when you're done**. Ramble: we find the good parts. Or type your answer instead.
3. Send it. Answered questions move to **Received**. Use **See your answers** to read them again.

When nothing is waiting you see **You're all caught up**.

If recording does not work, your browser may have blocked the microphone. Allow it in your browser settings, or type your answer.

## Connecting LinkedIn

- You approve every post before it goes out.
- Your LinkedIn password stays with LinkedIn. You sign in on LinkedIn's own page.
- You can disconnect any time.

LinkedIn ends app connections after about 2 months. If yours expires, your ghostwriter may send you a reconnect reminder. See [Why did LinkedIn disconnect?](https://help.ligosocial.com/articles/why-did-linkedin-disconnect)

## Billing for ghostwriting clients

You can update your card and download invoices from **Billing**. Plan changes and cancellations for ghostwriting go through your ghostwriter: email **support@ligosocial.com**.
